About the Winery

Tabasco Tom, Broderick Smith and Doc White

THE PHILLIP ISLAND VINEYARD AND WINERY was established in 1994, and is now owned and run by Tim and Tricia O’Brien.

Our small ‘farm gate’ cellar door features our award winning cool-climate wines with crisp whites and mouth-filling peppery reds. Our signature Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are among the best you will find.

With a relaxed cottage-style cellar door, wide green lawns, and delicious ‘light-meals’ menu, our quiet little winery is a relaxed and friendly place to spend a tranquil afternoon. Music, radio plays and events, with local and visiting national acts,  feature throughout the year.

In March 11 2012, Phillip Island Winery is staging MUSICFEST PHILLIP ISLAND, an all-day concert and umbrella event under the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. You can buy tickets direct, 5956 8465 or from the MUSICFEST website: musicfestphillipisland.com.au

Only minutes from the motorcycle Grand Prix circuit, the world famous Penguin Parade and fur seal colonies at The Nobbies, the Phillip Island Vineyard and Winery is in a beautiful rural location with views over Bass Strait and Berry’s Beach.

Our small vineyard produces cool climate wines of the finest character and style.

We produce Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Rose, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot and Shiraz, as well as a very special Noble Riesling dessert wine.

You are welcome to visit to sample our wines, or place orders online (NB: see ‘warning’ below.)

OPEN 11:00am – 5:30pm every day, year round, and open evenings for events, concerts and shows over holiday periods (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day).
