SONGWRITER AND GUITARIST Col Matthews will be performing at Phillip Island Winery with ‘EJ’ on banjo and Andy Stewart on percussion and guitar for a twilight concert from 6:30 pm on Friday 11th January.
Equally at home on an acoustic guitar as electric, Col plays a laid-back folk/country style with songs from Dylan and Neil Young punctuating his own classy compositions.
Andy Stewart, a multi-instrumentalist who recently mixed Paul Kelly’s latest album at his Archie’s Creek Mill Road Studios, also plays across a number of genres. He and Col are joined by EJ on Banjo for an evening of roots classics old and new, and originals.
There is no cover charge – just come along and enjoy the music, our fresh food platters and fine wines.
Col and Andy will also be performing at MUSICFEST 2013, alongside well-known national acts, The Davidson Brothers, Stonefield, Kira Puru, Mat McHugh, Laura King, Lisa Miller and others.
